Mission:

Define test engineering system modules, with a whole range of functions and interconnections, including coordination and consulting in the execution of the related tests.

Responsibilities:

Define, adjust e.g. with customer and, if necessary, correct the technical requirements for components / modules / system components (e.g. regarding their functionalities, installation, etc.) Adjust priorities; Definition of system components interfaces Track of the progress in a development project Collaborate in the elaboration of time schedules and costs plans Contribute to complying with specified development objectives; if necessary, initiate counter measures Enusre the development of specialised concepts e.g. system concepts or system architectures for parts / modules and ensure their feasibility Instruct testing of test and measurement equipments as well as coordination of test specifications Coordinate the development of new components/modules with a whole range of functions and interconnections within a particular development stage (e.g. from the requirement specifications to the production release etc.) Professional steering of resources Support the purchasing by the evaluation and selection of suppliers Ensure the cost-effective delivery of components/modules, according to the time-, function- and installation-related specifications, within the development of testing systems components Support in the qualification and approval of test system components Carry out development works (e.g. Design of components/modules with a whole range of functions and interconnections) based on the specifications (e.g. with respect to function, weight and installation, economic aspects etc.) Examinate and review the drawings and data sets; ensure the elaboration of documentation Perform technical risc assessments e.g. FMEA

Profile:

Engineering degree in Technical Field with at least 3 years of relevant experience Previous experience with : System Engineering or Product management is considered as an advantage Fluent communication in English is mandatory Good knowledge of relevant industrial policies (e.g. CE Machinery Directive, Low-Voltage Directive, EMC Directives, RoHS Directive,…) Previous knowledge in technical risk assessment (e.g. FMEA)
