What you'll be doing on your day-to-day:



- Act as a liaison between the leadership and employees to address concerns and promote effective communication.
- Manage various HR projects in collaboration with the Chief People Officer.



- Maintain HRIS database for Cognira and sister company, RetSci, including, but not limited to;




  • Launch onboarding and offboarding tasks and provide follow-up to ensure candidates and employees are supported effectively.

  • Making updates to title/Management/PTO.


- Manage People Operations programs included, but not limited to;




  • Performance Reviews.

  • Coaching/Mentoring/Training and best practices for people management.

  • Employee Satisfaction Surveys.

  • Exit Interviews across global offices.

  • Support new employees throughout the onboarding process, coordinate and conduct new employee orientation.


- Support team building objectives, examples include, but are not limited to;




  • Participate in the office social committee.

  • Organize and support organizational events.

  • Organize and support team-building activities.


- Facilitate organizational awareness and brand recognition by participating in university career fairs.



- Perform other duties as assigned.


What you bring to the table:



- A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.



- 3 or more years of Human Resources work experience.



- Ability to communicate effectively in English and French.



- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.



- Effective organization and time management capabilities.



- Collaborative business style, ability to work with team members and cross-functionally.



- Experience working in or with a US-based organization is preferred.
