ROLE PURPOSE:

• To ensure administration and support activities of the AVI Quality & Compliance department are efficiently and effectively conducted.
• To commit to the value of teamwork and sharing of information and experience

YOUR TASKS:

• Assist the AVI Quality & Compliance team with maintaining and administration of BCAA letters and licence applications (Flight Crew, Flight Dispatchers & Engineers), monitoring and tracking status of such applications with BCAA licencing dept.
• Assist with collection and distribution of BCAA letters/documents ensuring all mail is handled efficiently and with confidentiality.
• Facilitate retrieval and distribution of mail/parcels that are required for AVI Quality & Compliance dept. purposes and tracking the status of airway bills.
• Apply for and process airside passes (permanent/temporary), airside car permits, vehicle permits/passes (contractors/suppliers) and visitor passes through the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) online portal, ensuring all internal approvals are obtained before proceeding with the application process.
• In liaison with Flight Operations Support, apply for and process CMC cards for Flight Crew by adhering to internal and Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA) protocols.
• Assist the AVI Quality & Compliance team in the application of AOC renewals/variation and facilitating BCAA inspectors visits for the AOC, AMO and CAMO annual audits.
• Maintain updates to the AVI Quality & Compliance Department Processes & Procedures ensuring any changes are administered and approved as the MPOM.
• Ensure AVI Quality & Compliance dept. are kept informed, apprised, and notified of all applicable communications.
• Maintain safe and hygienic conditions of the AVI Quality & Compliance dedicated vehicle that is utilized for company purposes.
• Assist the Director Quality & Compliance (DQC) with processing renewals and follow-up of TRA certificates for company aircraft.
• Assist with compiling and developing Quality reports and tracking activities of the AVI Quality & Compliance dept.

YOUR PROFILE:

• University degree or minimum 2 years aviation experience
• Be familiar with Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) rules & requirements for administration of airside/vehicle/visitor passes.
• Must have a high level of skill in written and verbal communications in the English language.
• Proof reading and procedure writing abilities.
• Possess working knowledge of BCAA’s regulations & publications.
• High degree of computer literacy using MS Office applications.
• Must possess excellent people management & motivational skills, resilient and culturally sensitive with good communication skills.
• Hold a Valid Driving License.
