A public relations (PR) manager is concerned with helping a school maintain a positive public image.
This may be done using different forms of media to convey a positive message to target parents.
- Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences, etc.
- Support the implementation of promotional plans such as school orientations or school expos.
- Handle all aspects of the school's publications, such as external and internal newsletters, brochures, bulletins, and letters.
- Work with media outlets such as (Social media, Websites, etc.), and handle any inquiries for parents on the spot.
- Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media to publish timely school information, such as press releases, brochures, and other materials.
- Upload and deliver education courses and materials to the school website & Social media.
- Developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
- Intervene and follow up with the parents regarding any problems or issues to ensure they are resolved within 24 hours.
- Organize directly with the teaching departments the internal and external events, and keep the board directors updated.
- Preparing the induction and onboarding program for the new people.
- Handling the admission process, such as parents’ interviews, children’s assessments, and feedback.
- Adhere to and promote all school values, policies, and procedures.
at least 3 years of experience working in International schoolsFluent in both spoken and written Englishexperience in the American curriculum
