Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Healthcare Planner/ Architect to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading healthcare programming and planning as well as architectural design efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of architectural expertise and specialized knowledge in healthcare environments, with a strong commitment to delivering innovative, functional, and patient-centered design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site analysis and research to inform design decisions based on best practices in healthcare.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, guidelines, and regulations relevant to healthcare facility design.
- Develop space programming/ schedule of accommodations and functional layouts tailored to specific healthcare facility needs, considering patient flow, staff efficiency, and end-user’s operational requirements.
- Consider integration of advanced technologies and sustainable design principles into healthcare facility planning and design.
- Lead the conceptualization, design development, and implementation of healthcare facility projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and healthcare professionals to ensure design coherence and functionality.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. degree in Architecture, Master degree is preferred.
- Licensed Architect preferred
- Minimum 12- 15 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on healthcare facilities. Previous experience as a Healthcare Planner or similar role highly desired.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Revit and BIM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sustainable design principles is a plus.
- PMP accreditation is preferable.
