Job Summary:
§ Implements the BC strategy, business recovery plan and procedure; reviews, revises, and expands various protocols.
§ Reviews and implements ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management (BCM) in accordance with relevant accreditation standards (ISO: 9001:2015 etc.) and in compliance with the Company policies and statutory regulations
§ Conducts risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as loss of access to premises, loss of utilities, destruction of equipment, natural disasters, security breach, market disruptions etc.
§ Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.
§ Manages the Business Continuity (BC) process, roles and responsibilities (including BC champions), by facilitating practice drills for the plan execution by sufficient training and testing in order to achieve a successful plan
§ Maintains and updates the (BC) plan and supported entities by ensuring relevant stakeholders are up to date on the actions to be taken in the required timeframes
Candidate Experience/Background:
- Minimum 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Banking, Oil & Gas, Governmental sectors
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or other related business discipline.
- Certified ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management (BCM) or a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) would be an added advantage
