Job Description

MAIN MISSIONS

• Is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control processes to ensure that products meet specified quality standards.
• Ensure quality control of raw materials, packaging and finished products
• Alert the relevant departments if a non-compliance is detected.
• Conduct root cause analysis, define and implement the necessary corrective actions
• Following research and development projects within the framework of testing new raw materials, domestication of new products.
• Ensure that raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress and finished products conform to the defined specifications.
• To actively participate in the continuous improvement of product and process quality.

Main responsibilities and obligations

Quality control

• Monitor the quality of semi-finished and finished products according to the specifications communicated in the control plan and alert your line manager and the production department in case of non-conformity.
• Collect samples according to the control plan and ensure their traceability.
• Prepare the samples and carry out the tests in accordance with the defined protocols.
• Interpret the analysis results and raise the alarm in case of non-compliance.
• Participate in the development and validation of new formulations in conjunction with the R&D department.
• Adhere to sampling protocols, inspection techniques and testing methodologies that comply with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Sample library management

Documentation and traceability

• Ensure traceability of the various controls carried out, using control sheets for raw materials, packaging, and SAP for finished products.
• Validate the finished product work orders in SAP
• Ensure the PF control table is completed as part of the reporting process.
• Contribute to the drafting and updating of quality procedures

Non-conformity management

• Identify and record internal and external non-conformities.

Interaction with production

• Working closely with production operators to ensure the quality of finished products.
• Suggest production adjustments if necessary.
• Add to that the responsibility in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bac +3 (BTS / Licence) in Chemistry, Materials, Quality or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience in an industrial environment within a similar sector of activity
