Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Economics Expert (PhD) to provide high-level economic analysis and strategic insights for a project-based assignment. The role requires deep expertise in economic modeling, data interpretation, and policy evaluation to support decision-making. Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or a closely related field with a proven track record of applied research.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop and refine economic models to forecast market trends and assess policy impacts.• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for business or policy decisions.• Design and conduct empirical studies using econometric methods and statistical techniques.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate economic findings into strategic recommendations.• Present findings in clear, concise reports and presentations to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• PhD in Economics or a related discipline with a focus on applied research.• Proficiency in econometric software such as Stata, R, or Python (Num Py, Pandas, Stats Models).• Strong quantitative analysis skills with experience in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.• Expertise in time-series analysis, regression modeling, and causal inference methods.• Ability to interpret complex economic data and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.• Experience with policy evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, or market research is preferred.• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Matplotlib.• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
