Prerequisites




  • Level of study: Scientific Bac+3 or higher

  • Fluent in English and French (mandatory)

  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience at Yazaki


Skills:




  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Team spirit

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP tools is a plus


Responsibilities:




  • Review the materials forecast information based on the finished goods forecast and MRP

  • Send weekly releases to suppliers

  • Regularly review the MRP demand to identify potential risks of production interruption

  • Take immediate contingency actions to avoid production shutdowns

  • Obtain supplier invoices once parts leave the supplier and ensure all in-transit parts are under control

  • Communicate with suppliers for order confirmations

  • Document all related paperwork in case of supplier failure

  • Control and manage obsolete and excess material

  • Share information about supplier delays

  • Follow up on weekly supplier backlogs

  • Control premium costs (Due RM)

  • Review the ECN (Engineering Change Notice) and provide the ETA of new materials to engineering

  • Keep any open ECN updated and keep related persons informed

  • Communicate with suppliers and third parties as needed

  • Participate in daily and weekly meetings
