About the team:

FIS UBIX is a real-time back-office system for cleared derivatives that facilitates global clearing for both sell side and buy side firms across the financial industry. Built as a global system, UBIX offers time zone independent automated processing to ensure that each market supported by the system can be opened or closed independently of all the others. Development teams are spread throw different FIS locations.

About the role:

As a Software Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.

What you will be doing:

• Performing usability testing and communicating activities and findings.

  
  

• Controlling and managing daily test activities.

  
  

• Providing internal quality assurance.

  
  

• Working as a member of QA Scrum team, you will be involved at every phase of the development lifecycle from requirement through release.

  
  

What you will bring:

• Qualifications Engineering Diploma or Finance Degree Diploma

  
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, executive, management, individual contributors

  
  

• Excellent problem-solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others

  
  

• Proficiency to operate independently

  
  

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  
  

• A positive, proactive, and professional attitude

  
  

• Functional knowledge in finance, ideally in back-office for derivative product processing

  
  

• Test automation experience, preferably using tool such as QTP, UFT, Selenium

  
  

• Implementing automated tests using the test automation tool (QTP, UFT, Selenium)

  
  

• Configuring, using and managing test environments and test data

  
  

• Monitoring the test execution in CI (Jenkins)

  
  

• Running and maintaining the automated regression test suites

  
  

• Analyzing issues and reporting tests failure (JIRA)

  
  

• Participating proactively in daily standup meetings, team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements

  
  

• Configuring, using, and managing test environments and test data

  
  

• Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP)

  
  

• Dealing with API Testing frameworks such as Postman

  
  

• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large data sets.

  
  

Added bonus if you have:

• Certification ISTQB Foundation level

  
  

• Certification on SCRUM basics.

  
  

• Basic knowledge of project management methods and techniques
