Job Purpose


Act as People & Culture Business Partner interface with business customers and as a key driver of the people strategy implementation.


Key Accountabilities


 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :


People BP is responsible for.


  • Acting as a people and culture strategic partner for the leaders in scope
  • Contribute to the P&C agenda & roadmap to support the delivery of country business objectives.
  • Implementing policies and processes in line with P&C strategy
  • Developing & implementing local talent development program in collaboration with other P&C Team
  • Help driving a solid culture and transformation Journey.
  • Act as a change agent, open on the external world to evolve P&C practices.

P&C strategy


  • Contribute to the country P&C roadmap actions to support the country business objectives / functions objectives
  • Develop a strong collaborative relationship with the leaders, managers and employees
  • Partner with line managers across key P&C outcomes: recruitment, development & training, Recognition, Performance assessment, change management, culture & employee engagement, Diversity & Inclusion and individual employee matters.

People Attraction & Planning


  • Partner with  Talent Acquisition to coordinate all recruitment / mobility processes and attract the right talents into the organization
  • Partner with  local finance for close HC planning & monitoring
  • Partner with Reward & Performance CoE to implement international mobilities

People Recognition


  • Partner with regional Reward & Performance and local to run compensation cycle and for gradings & pricings purposes in line with the validated governance

People growth


  • Counsel managers on most efficient organization design, structure and allocation of resources to deliver business challenges
  • Manage organizational changes
  • Drive local talent management process, enabling leaders
    • to build a strong Talent Pipeline to support and enhance business goals
    • to grow talents through relevant development programs
    • to foster mobilities across Sanofi functions & BUs, from & towards
  • Drive local learning agenda for the country, leveraging Sanofi Group leadership programs, iLearn resources as well as the  capability building resources built by function excellence teams or locally

People services & experience (P&C administration)


  • Partner with Global Business Services People Services for day-to-day administrative procedures & Workday business processes.
  • Deliver day-to-day operational excellence to the business
  • Advice and counsel all levels of management on employee relations to manage and resolve employee issues reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Acts as the single point of contact at national level to drive transversal topics & coordinate common processes at national level, across Commercial Operations, and Global Support functions in scope

  • Apply Agile methodology, Space to lead principles and Volcano approach in day-to-day transversal cooperation (project mode, squads, thoughtful risk taking, simplification opportunities etc.).

  • Change our decision-making processes to be more Customer centric, involving the field force and all customer facing functions more in their decision-making, in a bottom-up approach.
  • Adopt a “good enough” approach to be able to respond to the need with the feedback we received from our customers with the first prototype (“Minimum Viable Product”) and iterate with time

  • Guarantee that all activities, operations, and procedures are carried out in compliance with local regulations and laws governing business operations as well as corporate policies.
  • Take personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

Qualifications and Requirements


Experience & knowledge: 


  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with at least 10 years of cross-cultural human resource experience
  • Substantial senior experience in business partnering in an international environment including C&B, Talent Management and HR transformation project and performance analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
  • Solid understanding of local employment law and compliance policies with ability to advise on complex employee relations matter.

Skills & Abilities:


  • Self-starter and result driven attitude;
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and change management ability
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and digital applications.
