Job Description
Desings and develops wiring systems using 2D/3D design tools and relevant design methods and creates the 3D documentation- Designs 3D wiring system documentations using CAD software at various stages using the customer’s tools, processes and procedures
- Evaluates product change requests and provides solutions with focus on VA/VE
- Coordinates changes, controls and reports on status to internal and external parties
- Defines and coordinates work packages for internal and external partners
- Identifies cost and efficiency improvements, e.g. Design for manufacturing or design to cost
- Supports design reviews and takes part in quality and design activities (DFMEA, Design for Manufacuting, etc.)
- Analyses and operates according to various requirements (customers, LEONI, IATF, etc.)
- Creates production documents (e.g. bill of materials, cutting lists, wire charts, ...)
- Works at LEONI and/or customer sites
- Acts internally and externally as a contact person (e.g. for customers and suppliers)
Qualifications and Experience
- Education Level : Engineering or Master’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or similar field
- Knowledge in 3D Engineering Design Tools
- Language: C1 English
