Job Description

- Performs operational investigations to define the annual Continuous Improvement (CI) plan with commitment of Plant management and ensures that the objectives are measured and targets are achieved in area of responsibility


- Participates in internal OPEX audits to ensure that all improvement efforts are aligned to Plant/Country goals, to requirements and to the strategy


- Leads the deployment and sustainability of OPEX system in area of responsibility (e.g. OPEX Manual, OPEX Whitebook, OPEX standards) in the Plant/Country


- Checks that OPEX routines, OPEX methods and tools are respected in area of responsibility


- Develops and implements a training/ coaching plan for methods and tools based on standard OPEX training program to ensure that employee qualification meets requirements


- Is responsible for choosing applicable and appropriate tools and methods from existing OPEX tool box in area of responsibility


- Manages Individual CI process to involve every employee in day-to-day improvement in area of responsibility


- Acts as PMO for improvement projects and for Continuous Improvement workshops on the shopfloor and indirect area in area of responsibility and leads/supports PIP activities in case of performance deviation in area of responsibility


- Develops the skills of OPEX resources for methods and tools (theoretical and practical trainings, skill matrix and development plan)


- Leads the local best practice identification, implementation and sharing in area of responsibility 




Qualifications and Experience

Level of Education : Engineer


Branch Of Study: Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial or equivalent


Experience : A minimum of a year in the Continuous Improvement departement is appreciated


Language : English is mandatory


Social competences : Communication /Social & intercultural sensitivity / Change management /Target & result orientation/ Motivation & resilience/Self-organization /Conflict management / Teamwork


Professional competence : Lean Manufacturing, Hoshin Kanri & Continuous Improvement Techniques etc ..
