Purpose of Job
- To ensure ADNOC Refining can continue operating its business-critical processes at a pre-determined level at times when they would otherwise be disrupted;
- Developing and implementing a Business Continuity program Identifying and verifying continuity options to ensure the sustainability of the business-critical processes, activities and dependencies
- Prepare reports on the progress and status of Business Continuity Management in ADNOC Refining for presentation at the Board Advisory Committee and the Board of Directors
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Sciences or Engineering, with an additional professional qualification in Enterprise Risk and/or Business Continuity Management
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 12 years of professional experience (preferably within the oil and gas industry) with at least 5 years in a leading role in Business Continuity Management
Professional Certifications
- Certification in Business Continuity Management by a recognised body, such as the Business Continuity Institute
- Certification in Risk Management by a recognised body, such as the Institute of Risk Management
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Subject Matter Expert in BCM
- Fluency in MS Office - essential
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboard design etc) - essential
- MS Project - desirable
- MS Visio – desirable
- Working knowledge of risk management tools e.g. Monte Carlo simulations - desirable
