Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimation, Procurement & Contracting Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed project cost estimates, managing procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and drafting and reviewing contracts in coordination with internal stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of construction materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Analyze project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to determine accurate quantities and costs.
Develop and issue RFQs and RFPs to suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate technical and financial offers and participate in vendor selection.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contract conditions with vendors and subcontractors.
Prepare, review, and manage contracts to ensure alignment with project requirements and legal standards.
Monitor procurement schedules and coordinate with site and planning teams for timely material delivery.
Maintain and update cost databases and supplier/vendor records.
Coordinate with engineering, finance, and legal departments to ensure compliance and control over contract terms and budgets.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably within real estate development or construction companies in Egypt.Strong understanding of cost estimation principles, procurement cycles, and contract structures.Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, PlanSwift, or equivalent).Familiarity with FIDIC or Egyptian contract standards is a plus.Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).Preferred Qualifications:Experience with large-scale residential or commercial developments.Previous work with reputable real estate developers or consultancy firms.PMP, CCP, or relevant certifications are an advantage.
