Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimation Engineer to join our team. The role involves analyzing technical designs (such as doors, windows, etc.), identifying the required materials and measurements, and preparing accurate cost estimates.
Candidates with experience in production or technical office for at least two years are encouraged to apply — even if they haven’t worked in estimation directly.
Key Responsibilities:
Review incoming requests and technical designs (e.g., doors, windows).
Analyze drawings to determine the required materials, dimensions, and specifications.
Prepare detailed material take-offs and cost estimates.
Collaborate closely with the technical office and production teams to ensure accuracy.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints proficiently.
Create and manage estimation sheets using Microsoft Excel efficiently.
Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts – Furniture or Wood specialization is a must.Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in production or technical office work within the furniture or wood industry.Willingness to shift to estimation; prior experience in estimation is not required.Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
