Prepare and review MEP shop drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing) based on design drawings and specifications.
Develop and review technical submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil departments to resolve technical issues and avoid conflicts.
Follow up on material procurement processes, ensuring timely approval and delivery to site.
Prepare RFIs (Requests for Information) and respond to consultant comments or queries.
Participate in value engineering and technical meetings to optimize design and cost-efficiency.
Monitor MEP site installation works to ensure alignment with approved shop drawings and specifications.
Support the project planning team by providing technical inputs for MEP work schedules and resource planning.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of design revisions, approvals, and as-built drawings.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.3+ years of experience in MEP technical office roles within construction or contracting companies.Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferable), and MS Office; knowledge of BIM software is a plus.Familiar with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, NFPA, etc.).Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
