- Ensuring the smooth functioning of all utility units and equipment in a facility and monitor the water quality in utility.
- To perform planned Maintenance as per department’s schedule coordinating service and supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.
- To carry out daily routine check of all running equipment's and monitor the performance and take corrective actions in order to prevent breakdowns for achieving KPIs requirements.
- Placing release order for utility spare parts available at the warehouse.
- To attend trouble shooting and repairs to make sure the operations are done in proper working order.
- Allocating works to the technicians and monitoring their performance ensuring that standards and timescales are met.
- Reporting utility faults and submitting maintenance reports to the Maintenance section head.
- Cooperate and share both of production and mechanical department for all activities.
- Keeping a proper record of all utility repair and maintenance works.
- To ensure safe working with all necessary safety guidelines, safe keeping of tools &daily cleanliness of work areas.
- Transfer know how of the stat of art technology to his staff.
Must have good technical knowledge in rotating equipment like pumps (reciprocating as well as rotary), reciprocating compressors, fan, blowers and material handling equipment like belt conveyors, metal conveyors, and other stationary equipment.Must have 3 years work experience in overhauling of all rotating equipment and troubleshooting experience in process/production industries.Must have thorough knowledge in using measuring instruments and alignment of rotating equipment’s.
