Job Title: Site Engineer

Reports to: Operation Manager

Location: Kuwait only

Job Summary:

The Site Engineer is responsible for managing parts of construction projects, providing technical advice, supervising staff on site, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves a mix of office and on-site work and requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Assist in the planning and implementation of construction projects.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved project plans and specifications.
• Monitor and report on project progress to ensure deadlines are met.
• Technical Duties:
• Perform technical site surveys and assessments.
• Prepare site reports, design documents, and technical drawings.
• Oversee and check contractors' and subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
• Conduct quality control inspections and tests as required.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise.
• Safety Management:
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on site.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff.
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure timely delivery of design solutions.
• Facilitate effective communication between the site and project management team.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Maximum of [4] years of experience in a similar role within the construction & Decoration industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.

Working Conditions:

• This role requires significant time on construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical activities.
• Regular travel to and from project sites is expected.
• Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to meet project deadlines.
