Position Summary / Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to use design software to produce accurate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings for engineering and construction projects.


Required Education:

-Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.


Required Experience & Certificates:

-10 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical drafting.


Required Skills:

-Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant software).
-Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
-Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and patience in drafting work.
-Excellent technical drawing skills and the ability to interpret and develop MEP designs.
-Understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards.


Tasks and Duties:

-Prepare detailed MEP drawings, including wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, plumbing layouts, circuit schematics, and panel designs.
-Create preliminary sketches and develop detailed technical designs and schematics.
-Generate multiple design iterations for review and approval by engineers.
-Apply knowledge of MEP codes, safety standards, and installation techniques to incorporate accurate details into design plans.
-Estimate material quantities, labor costs, and assist in developing project timelines.
-Support the preparation of technical specifications for MEP systems, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and power distribution.
-Assist engineers on-site to ensure that all plans and specifications are followed accurately.
-Work under the supervision of MEP engineers or project managers.
-Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements and regulatory standards
