JOB SUMMARY
In the role of Food & Beverage Outlets Manager you will assist the F&B teams in achieving customer satisfaction, associate satisfaction and financial targets while demonstrating leadership skills that will enhance the reputation, quality and performance of Cat & Mouth.
JOB SKILLS
• Responsible for hiring, training and management of all associates; scheduling as per business demands;
• Ensure all F&B associates receive proper training and follow up on performances;
• Complete daily and weekly reviews; meet and discuss performance with associates.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all F&B areas.
• Conduct daily and weekly inventory counts.
• Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned and maintained; replenish to keep par stock level.
• Ensure all financial reporting, billing, and payroll entry is maintained and accurate
Participation in department head meetings
• Provide input into budgeting and forecasting for catering department
• Ensuring the operating standards comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Setting procedures for opening and closing - ensuring the outlets are properly set up and locked or unlocked.
• Dealing with any customer queries in an appropriate manner
• Managing the service to consistently high standards
• Ensuring product specifications are defined and meet the operating needs of the outlets.
• Ensuring the outlets are kept tidy, organized, secure, safe and clean at all times.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with associates and other company departments.
• Maintaining labor and beverage costs within established levels and continuously seeking improvements and efficiency.
• Thorough knowledge of menu items, portion sizes and presentation.
• Prepare food orders ensuring a high and consistent standard of quality and presentation.
• Prep and refill stations, ensuring minimum spoilage of food.
• Cover and store food in food safe manner at all times.
• When receiving goods, count it and put it away in its appropriate storage area right away.
• Notify the Chef of low or missing supplies.
• Notify the Chef of any kitchen/equipment maintenance required.
• Being alert to clients’ preferences, habits, and tastes in order to communicate their needs to other Operations Manager.
• Handling any guest inquiries in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner. Taking personal responsibility for each request up to the point of completion.
• Being familiar with all fire and safety procedures. Following the procedures as required and working in a safe manner at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• 3- 5 years experience in a Food and Beverage (preferably hospitality)
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• ISO Certified, Safe Food Handling and first aid is an asset.
• Holds a degree in Technical Studies preferring in Hospitality (TS Hospitality) with extensive experience in leading and managing canteen operations. Skilled in staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards to deliver high-quality service.
• Fluent in both French and English, enabling effective communication in multicultural environments.
