Reporting to: Senior Sales Engineer & Managing Partner
Liaison: Internal: Managing Partners, Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, Accounting, Warehouse, Operations
External: Customers, Developers, Consultants, Contractors, Maintenance team
Basic Function:
To Analyze project specifications then to select and issue quotations of appropriate mechanical products and equipment based on bill of quantities, drawings and / or technical requirements in line with the department’s quotation process.
Key Performance Areas:
Sales Support and Office Functions:
• To respond to customers’ enquiries on time with the right selection of products which meet the customers’ technical requirement and offering a tailor-made solution
• To make proper selection of materials as per projects / customers’ requirements and get necessary approvals from the Management
• To compute and promptly update all leads, opportunities & customers in the ERP system for proper follow up
• To process the quotations and orders in the ERP as per the nature of the job. When necessary, coordinate with Management for initiating procurement of items/goods from Suppliers
• To be responsible for accurate preparation of all documents such as quotations, sales orders etc.
• To coordinate with Suppliers of materials in terms of Technical Compliance of their products and Services with the market / projects’ requirements
Core Competency Level:
Qualifications: Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Personal Details Around 22 – 30 years old
Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Electro-mechanical products, selections, designs and applications Including but not limited to HVAC systems, Fire Fighting Systems, Fans, Pumps and Electro-Mechanical materials
Skills: Relevant earlier experience is a plus
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, a team-player, excellent computer skills, good behavior, well mannered, pleasing and strong personality
