Certified Nurse

Purpose:
The Nurse is responsible for treating children’s basic illnesses or any on-site accidental incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Attend to non-emergency medical needs of children on a daily basis
• Give basic first aid in case of medical emergencies while waiting for a medical intervention
• Guide and supervise daycare staff regarding proper hygiene and safety procedures, such as hand washing, diaper disposal and sanitation
• Administer medication to children when needed, and closely monitor children with allergies
• Diagnose and treat minor health ailments
• Raise parents’ and children’s awareness of safety and health issues
• Execute policies and follow proper procedures in case of emergencies
• Coordinate with visiting health professionals
• Assist parents who need to consult with an education/health professional (e.g. speech therapists, counselors, physiotherapists, physicians, etc.)

Educational Qualification:
A University degree in Nursing or midwife training

Language Skills:
Arabic (or local spoken language) and English; French is a plus

Experience:
Experience in the same or similar domain is preferred
