Position: Video Post-Production Workflow Expert Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $15 - $65/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Demonstrate and articulate end-to-end video post-production workflows using Open Shot or Shotcut. Organize, label, and manage raw video assets for efficient editing processes. Apply narrative timing to create compelling story structure and visual flow. Refine rough cuts, evaluate transitions, and resolve visual editing challenges. Clearly document workflow decisions through written and verbal communication. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on AI workflow capture and training. Showcase creative problem-solving approaches to enhance post-production efficiency and quality.
Requirements Strong experience in video editing using Open Shot and/or Shotcut. Strong understanding of sequencing, narrative timing, and visual storytelling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage and organize multimedia assets effectively. Experience completing full video production projects across various formats. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-evolving environment. Comfort explaining creative and technical decisions clearly and concisely.
