Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mathematics Professor/Researcher (PhD) to work on a contract basis. The role involves theoretical and applied research in advanced mathematical frameworks, with a focus on algorithmic innovation and computational efficiency. Candidates will contribute to high-impact projects in AI and data science, leveraging deep mathematical expertise to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop and refine mathematical models for AI-driven applications, including optimization and probabilistic reasoning.• Conduct rigorous theoretical analysis to validate and extend existing algorithms.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate mathematical insights into scalable computational solutions.• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals or present at academic and industry conferences.• Mentor junior researchers or graduate students in advanced mathematical concepts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.• Proven expertise in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, or computational mathematics.• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Julia for mathematical simulations.• Strong background in statistics, linear algebra, or differential equations.• Experience with machine learning frameworks or optimization algorithms is highly desirable.
