Position Description:

Analyst-level position responsible for monthly closing process and accounting results of assigned schools.

Position Responsibilities:

* Perform the monthly closing for assigned countries;

* Ensure accuracy, completion on time, validation of results, and review open items;

* Participate in monthly calls with institutions and validate variances;

* Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and policies ;

* Provide support to institutions for reporting results; support on maintenance and development of the tool

* Intragroup Balances Tracking: Ensure accurate and relevant tracking of intragroup balances and transactions;

* Assist on preparation of management fees across countries;§Lead the Lease tool at group level;

* Assist the Accounting & reporting manager within the accounting firms

* Assist and ensure a follow up of the statutory financial statements

* Lead the accounting entries at central level for the purpose of the Group reporting

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance;

* 3 to 5 years experience as Senior level Accounting position;

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Highest standards of accuracy and precision. Highly organized;

* Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French;

* Highly-driven and self-motivated;

Preferred Skills

* Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision;

* Knowledge of finance and accounting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and mainly IFRS;

* Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports;

* Provide assistance and collaboration to all staff across entities
