Valdi is a suite of global multi-asset trading solutions for listed equities, derivatives, commodities and fixed income instruments that provides access to trading venues around the world.


The Client Support team is the primary liaison, building relationships with customers and supporting their requests and incidents on all valdi solutions. #LI-Hybrid#LI-RB1


What you will be doing:


You will be part of Valdi Global Markets provides systems operations support


You will:


  • Performs monitoring functions in hardware and software within 24x7 processing environment.


  • Follows escalation procedures when appropriate to resolve errors in a timely manner.


  • Recognizes abnormal processing conditions and makes appropriate response decisions


  • Drives issue resolution by making critical decisions that may impact multiple clients’ processing.


  • Proactively investigates known and unknown error conditions and follows prescribed error correction procedures when they apply.


  • Maintains peak performance at full capacity for all systems.


  • Recognizes abnormal processing conditions and makes appropriate response decisions.


  • Makes use of available documentation to resolve errors and identifies/implements documentation gaps.


  • Monitors and responds accordingly to an array of system and application generated messages.


  • Responds in a timely manner to questions and requests from incident tickets.


  • Analyzes systems and applications  problems  and takes steps to avoid recurrence.


  • Works on internal and external projects of various sizes, complexity.


What you bring:


  • Good technical diagnostic, analytic and problem-solving skills


  • Linux, Shell scripting & Network understanding such as FTP, SSH, TCP/IP


  • Good experience in Incident Management and ITIL Process


  • Ability to multitask, deal with predefined deadlines


  • The ability to work effectively within local and distributed teams


  • The ability to multitask and work well under pressure, providing timely and accurate solutions to numerous clients’ needs


  • Shift work required, including weekend and public holidays


Added bonus if you have:


  • Service management knowledge (ITIL v3/v4, PMP)


  • Capital Markets and Trading platforms experience
