Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor for our Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Plant project. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of solar installations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Site Management:


    • Supervise daily site operations, including the installation, maintenance, and inspection of solar panels and related equipment.
    • Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, technicians, and construction personnel.
    • Ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and specifications.
  2. Health and Safety:


    • Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on site.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
    • Ensure that all site personnel are trained and compliant with safety regulations.
    • Investigate and report on any safety incidents or near misses.
  3. Quality Control:


    • Monitor the quality of work to ensure it meets industry standards and project requirements.
    • Identify and address any issues or deficiencies in construction work.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of work completed.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:


    • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
    • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
    • Document and report any changes to project scope or schedule.
  5. Resource Management:


    • Manage site resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to ensure efficient operation.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Monitor and control site expenses and report on budget variances.
  6. Communication and Coordination:


    • Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related issues.
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients.
    • Facilitate coordination between various teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  7. Problem Solving:


    • Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise.
    • Implement solutions to overcome challenges and keep the project on track.

Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in site supervision, preferably PV solar plant industry.

Additional Information
  • 12 months renewable
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and on elevated structures.
  • Willingness to travel to different site locations as required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, first aid) are advantageous.
