Main purpose of position

Currently we are looking for a Civil Quality Supervisor in Tozeur, Tunisia to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Civil Quality Supervisor you will proactively evaluate works performed in site to assess compliance with quality requirements during construction as per project documentation and guiding the field team by supporting in the implementation of tools established by the organization under the guidance of the site quality manager of the quality management system.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the site quality inspectors, support the site quality manager and ensure that quality goals are achieved
• Implement and monitor site quality management system in their discipline
• Highlight field issues that directly impact quality of the plant
• Maintain and update inspection register, red-line and calibration register
• Implement NCR process in site and maintain NCR register
• Complaints and feedback to and from the contractor
• Assist with internal and contractor audits
• Create project-specific quality documentation to ensure proper implementation of the quality management system.
• Perform inspections and follow-up on punch items
• Review and follow up on contractor’s quality management system implementation
• Sign off on contractor’s quality inspection reports
• Compile quality data packages for TTO
  
  
  
  

Qualifications And Competencies

• University degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Certification in Quality Control is advantage
• 3-5 years’ experience working on medium to large size preferably in PV construction projects, HV Substations or Transmission Lines
• Experience with the implementation of quality management systems in construction
• Leading teams efficiently in fast-faced environments
• Knowledge in ISO 9001:2008
• Fully computer literate and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Fluent both written and spoken in French and Arabic (English is advantage)
• Strong technical knowledge in area of studies (civil, mechanical or electrical)
• Reading and interpretation of construction drawings
• Hands-on: understanding of being interested in how things work out in the field
• Dedicated and someone who takes “ownership” to tasks and responsibilities
• A sound understanding of commercial impact of quality decisions on the project
• Skilled at identifying project critical success factors and adopting appropriate risk management practices
• Broad understanding of quality principles and ability to oversee their implementation
