Global Sales Specialist (m/f/d) IT Solutions

Your tasks

As a Global Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market reach and driving revenue growth by distributing our mobile software solutions worldwide. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Independently identify, qualify, and acquire new customers worldwide.
    • Expand and maintain existing customer relationships through strategic account management.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand customer requirements and present tailored software solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Industry 4.0 trends and emerging technologies.
    • Analyze business processes and develop innovative solution concepts in collaboration with IT consultants and software developers.
    • Address technical challenges and provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Sales Process Management:
    • Lead contract negotiations with decision-makers to achieve successful closure.
    • Ensure timely delivery and implementation of software solutions.
    • Provide post-sales support and assistance to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Market Representation:
    • Actively participate in sales and marketing events, trade fairs, and industry conferences.
    • Represent the company professionally and build strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
Skills & Requirements

  • Education and Experience:
    • Completed technical or business studies, or a comparable qualification.
    • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the IT or software industry.
    • Experience in selling complex IT solutions to global markets is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and emerging technologies.
    • Knowledge of business processes and ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Language Skills:
    • Fluency in English and French is essential. Additional language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong solution and service orientation.
    • Enthusiasm, persuasiveness, assertiveness, reasoning, and communication skills.
    • Intercultural competence and ability to travel.
    • Problem-solving and facilitation skills.
