About the role
The People & Culture Manager plays a crucial role in managing compensation, absence management, communication, and employee retention. He/She actively supports recruitment efforts and ensure employee well-being. Additionally, the people & culture manager acts as an advisor to managers on the application of the collective agreement and compliance with laws.
This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a high sense of professionalism and adaptability.
What you will do
- Manage the compensation and Benefits for all employees.
- Implement internal procedures, actions, and training to ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of People & Culture and PC members in the payroll review and approval process.
- Support the Director of People & Culture in setting the departmental budget.
- Maintain partnership relations with the hotel partners.
- Collaborate in managing employee retention and exit meetings.
- Organize and supervise all employee recreation programs include holiday parties, children’s party, general meetings etc.
- Assist with any other P&C tasks required by the P&C Director
What you bring
Education
- University degree - specializing in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field.
- 5 years’ experience minimum preferably in hospitality field.
Competencies
- Maintain harmonious and professional relationships with all departments and the executive office;
- Respect and apply Four Seasons’ work rules and conduct standards
- Have an international work perspective and excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proven leadership skills in a hospitality environment.
