Yazaki Tunisia is offering an exciting internship opportunity for an IT Development student to contribute to a project focused on implementing a system resources tracking and availability solution using Nagios. This project will play a critical role in ensuring our IT infrastructure remains efficient and highly available.

Goal:
To implement and configure a system for tracking resources and monitoring the availability of IT systems, leveraging Nagios to ensure continuous performance and prevent downtime.

Activities:

• System Configuration: Assist in the configuration of Nagios to monitor key system resources, including CPU, memory, disk usage, and network availability.


• Alerting & Monitoring: Set up alerting mechanisms to notify relevant teams of any potential system issues or resource constraints.


• Reporting: Help develop reporting tools to provide insights into system health and performance over time.


• Optimization: Work on optimizing the system to ensure it effectively tracks resources and maintains system availability with minimal disruption.

Who We Are Looking For:

• IT Development students with an interest in system monitoring and performance management.


• Familiarity with monitoring tools, especially Nagios, is a plus but not required.


• Strong knowledge of system resources and performance metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network).


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.


• Analytical and problem-solving skills to improve system availability and performance.
