Your Mission:

JOB DESCRIPTION - RPO & IP Lawyer

As an RPO Lawyer, your main mission will be to approve audiovisuals projects and make legal recommendations to the content team you’ll be working with.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Analyzes overall page health
• Problem solves and submit issues to FB
• Coordinates with IP team on rights issues of the pages
• Applies for monetization of pages and follow up application processes
• Check the videos we produce and ensure they comply with the platform (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, TikTok) rules and intellectual property.
• Keep constant communication with the editors and post-production managers, you will provide feedback as to how to avoid demonetization, claims, and strikes, without denaturing the video
• Work with the best-in-class post-production team to build the best strategy for the pages/channels, and advise them with your expertise to help the growth of the pages and channels
• Knowledgeable about platform guidelines and policies, e.g. Facebook, work with platform ops to improve our know-how
• Appeal intellectual property claims using your knowledge of the matter
• Motivation of the external Community
• Motivate the pool of Brand Safety checkers to ensure the page & channel quality
• Responds to the checker questions related to platform feedback
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the production compliance projectsand provide the best practices to the post-production team

A little about you:

• You have an academic legal background specializing in Intellectual property (>2 years of experience)
• Experience managing the legal aspects of Social Media channels, especially FB
• Fluent in English with strong writing skills
• Good knowledge of the major social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok,
• Snapchat & YouTube)
• Understanding of the IP rules related to social media platforms
• Rigorous and inquisitive, you are creative and know how to make suggestions, find solutions with the post-production team, and also to flag if necessary
• Highly organized and able to prioritize efficiently in order to manage multiple tasks at once
