What You'll Do
The EHS Officer supports the implementation and monitoring of the organization’s Environment, Health & Safety programs. He will work under the responsibility of the EHS Manager, ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting a safe workplace, and improving overall EHS performance.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Compliance & Safety Management
· Assist the EHS Manager in enforcing compliance with local laws, regulations, and company EHS standards.
· Participate in regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
· Maintain updated safety documentation.
B. Risk Assessment & Prevention
· Participate in risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSA), and hazard identification.
· Recommend and suggest corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the EHS Manager.
C. Incident & Emergency Management
· Assist the EHS Manager in incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis.
· Support implementation of emergency response plans and drills.
D. Training & Awareness
· Support safety campaigns and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
E. Environmental Management
· Support environmental monitoring (waste, emissions, noise, chemical storage).
· Ensure proper implementation of environmental protection measures.
Profile & Skills:
Education
· Professional master’s degree in Environment, Health, Safety & Environment)
Experience
· 1–3 years of experience in HSE/EHS roles
· Experience in industry is preferred
Skills
· Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
· Effective Communicator: Able to deliver clear instructions, conduct training, and communicate safety expectations to all levels of staff and sub-contractors.
· Attention to Detail: Able to identify hazards, risks, and non-compliances quickly and accurately
· Adaptability: Able to work in dynamic environments and respond calmly to emergencies or pressure situations
· Organized & Reliable: Manages documentation, deadlines, and reporting with precision and consistency.
