Job description Transport Specialist Location: Sousse VEO Worldwide Services is a B2B service provider that has been developing its business in Eastern Europe for 19 years. We are currently looking for a Transport Specialist. Your main tasks will be: Contacting freight suppliers in Europe by phone and email to ensure the continuous supply of logistics platforms and to obtain the necessary logistical information for organizing transport; Setting delivery dates and times at destination platforms by phone and email; Inform the Purchasing and Marketing department (on behalf of the client) of blocked orders; Communicate transport quotes at the request of the marketing department (on behalf of the client); Organize the transport of goods from suppliers in Europe to logistics platforms and track orders until receipt of goods; Contact current and new carriers to identify the best transport solution in terms of delivery times and transport costs; Contact new carriers specializing in groupage/full truckload/refrigerated transport and specific routes; Communicate the necessary information to the manager to validate transport invoices, pallets, and resolve disputes with carriers; Ensure the transfer of tasks and knowledge for the drafting of work procedures within the department; Collect and synthesize preliminary data for the preparation of specific reports; Participate in the process of improving processes and workflows within the department with the aim of streamlining ongoing activities; Be responsible for compliance with legal rules relating to the secrecy and confidentiality of data and information.

Job requirements

Requirements: Academic level: Higher education. Foreign languages: French - level B2; English - level B2; Knowledge of other languages ​​such as German/Spanish/Italian - level C1 is an asset. Technical skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook Mail. Programs used: SAP, TMS. Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and customer service. Key skills: Excellent communication, diplomacy, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and respect for deadlines. Results-oriented, persevering, and responsible.
