What You Will Achieve

In your role, you will serve as the main contact for Finance and Accounting activities and services at the business unit. You will provide technical guidance for continuous improvement of processes, systems and controls and partner with location’s operational leadership to provide analytical support on key business decisions as well as continued feedback on financial metrics. This position is responsible for delivering timely financial reporting and analysis, as well as maintaining a proper financial internal control environment.
As a Manager, you will be setting the objectives for multiple projects in your division. Your managerial and technical skills will help in guiding the people in your division. Your understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements will facilitate in instituting knowledge sharing practices in your team and outside. You shall be relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the division and sets direction for its success.

How You Will Achieve It

Establish operational activities/projects that support mid-term goals and set direction for the Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.
Ensure technical accounting, finance and reporting changes are successfully implemented across the program.
Partner with operational leadership to ensure impacts of strategic initiatives on internal controls, compliance and governance are applied as necessary.
Accountable for the development and implementation of complex and diverse strategic initiatives requiring accounting, financial reporting, business technology and shared service skills.
Interpret, summarize and highlight information for management in a systematic and organized manner and communicate as required to all levels of management.
Build teams and develop people by providing challenging tasks and assignments, holding frequent development discussions, being aware of each person’s career goals, constructing and executing development plans.
Clearly and consistently establish priorities for team and manage workload, deliverables and competing priorities .
Maintain effective working relationships with the Shared service centers.
Internal and external point of contact for all questions related to VAT, corporate tax and all other taxes.
Participate in projects that address continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience Demonstrated experience working across multiple levels and functions Good computer skills including Microsoft Applications. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and Financial reporting requirements which enables participation in a broad spectrum of accounting/financial reporting tasks/projects Effective decision maker, strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals Effective time management skills.

Nice-to-Have

Master’s Degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
SAP and Oracle, or similar, experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Arabic spoken and written language.
