The Maintenance Superintendent will perform complex, non-repetitive, managerial duties which will monitor department performance daily. Direct Supervisors and Lead associates to ensure that all paperwork is distributed and being filled out properly in a timely manner. Maintain a safe environment to work in and to monitor all necessary procedures. 

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inspect daily releases from supply.
  • Identify Planned work for Maintenance back log.
  • Oversee CMMS / SAP work order requests.
  • Track progress of open projects.
  • Work with external resources for maintenance and capital solutions.
  • Attend daily meetings.
  • Perform weekly safety audits, equipment audits.
  • Attend KPI and Capital meetings.
  • Write CER’s as required.
  • Manage capital projects as assigned. Prepare KPI’s.
  • Maintain budgets in assigned departments.
  • Build a team-based atmosphere.
  • Provide direction for SAP CMMS and the BOSS System.
  • Provide support to assigned production areas.
  • Complete walk around.
  • Development of team through regular one on one meetings
  • Track progress of open projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Industry and plant-wide equipment knowledge.
  • Knowledge on CER’s, budget control, safety, and food
  • Safety; Must have good team-building skills and understanding of leadership requirements.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of related work experience.
  • Must have relevant experience with machinery and equipment.
  • Degree in a related field not required.
