Job :
As part of our development, we are hiring a Design Engineer for steel structures.
Reporting to the Head of the Design Office, your main tasks will be:
Participate in the department's missions as a Structure Project Manager:
Take part in competitions and feasibility studies.
Carry out design studies for all project phases.
Perform the VISA mission in relation with companies, actively participating in the development of budgets and administrative documents for their technical aspects.
Ensure the proper definition of deliverables, the production schedule for deliverables, and internal quality control of deliverables produced by the team.
Ensure and participate in the writing of technical specifications and supervise the creation of graphic files.
Be responsible for identified projects: managing multidisciplinary production teams, project management and contract follow-up, establishing operation budgets (BPO), invoice tracking, identifying amendments to be presented to clients.
Participate in client relations and satisfaction.
Ensure the application of procedures, methods, and management and production tools.
Actively participate in the calculation unit.
Contribute to the technical developments of the pole: internship tutoring.
Participate in the development of bids and presentations.
Participate in lessons learned (REX) on projects, to share and disseminate best practices within the team.
Participate in the BPO campaign with the head of the pole.
Required profile :
You are the ideal candidate if you have an engineering degree.
You have at least 8 years of successful experience in civil engineering or infrastructure.
You are known for your open-mindedness and your people skills.
You are passionate about large-scale projects, technology, and a multidisciplinary approach.
As a team leader, you know how to be pedagogical with the existing teams.
You pay special attention to the quality of the work provided and have the ability to propose a systematic approach and consistency in the development and production of files.
You master common finite element structural analysis software (SCIA, IDEA STATICA, Robot...)
You master Eurocodes and French standards.
You have an excellent level of French.
