We are looking for a S-E-SE Finance Automation & RPA (m/f/d) role for our Finance Shared Service Center. In this role, you will be the local contact for automation topics and help us scale digital Finance solutions in a structured and sustainable way. You will work closely with Finance Operations, Finance Process Owners, IT and the global Automation/RPA Team. Depending on experience and local scope, the role may be positioned at Specialist, Expert or Lead Expert level.

Identify and document automation, RPA, workflow and AI-assisted improvement opportunities in Finance SSC processes. Gather, structure and validate business requirements, including accounting logic, controls and data quality needs. Support existing automation solutions and coordinate incidents, changes, testing and business-side root cause analysis. Coordinate with IT and global automation experts; involve vendors or implementation partners only where required. Report automation pipeline, status, risks and benefits to local management and the global Automation/RPA Team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in Finance SSC processes or comparable Finance Operations environments.
• Good accounting know-how and strong understanding of Finance processes, postings, reconciliations, controls and reporting requirements.
• Digital affinity and good understanding of automation technologies, workflow solutions, RPA and AI use cases in Finance.
• Experience in working with automation solution providers is beneficial, but not required for the core role.
• Structured, proactive working style with strong communication skills and fluent English.
