• Manages the sourcing activities for customer locations. This includes managing total “cost of procurement” inclusive of price, quality, delivery, and acquisition. Source current and new chemicals using approved uniform methods, negotiate prices for discrete orders.
• Support Purchasing management and site personnel to ensure responsive interaction; process all product inquiries, supplier problems, and material problems to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction consistently.
• Prepare management and customer requested reports; facilitate data collection on commodity trends, new products, new environmental policies, etc.
• Encourage and participate in department “team” building and the achievement of Henkel customer team and department objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
• Two years purchasing, planning, or inventory control experience; supporting manufacturing preferred
• Excellent supplier negotiating skills.
• Excellent math, spreadsheet, cost and price analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with chemical based products in a manufacturing or equivalent environment preferred.
  

The salary for this role is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
