What you will be doing:
As a Network Analyst III, you’ll work with large, complex network systems and maintain the infrastructure that’s critical to the world of global fintech. This will involve configuration changes on network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls.
As Network Analyst, you will provide and maintain network connectivity services for FIS networks Globally as required. The team is responsible for fulfilling network tasks providing end to end connectivity requirements for both our internal and external customers.
What you will be doing:
Deliver new end-to-end connectivity requirements and solutions on the existing FIS Global Enterprise network. To achieve this, you will be:
Responsible for managing your own internal ticket queue and completing service requests and tasks via the ITIL based ServiceNow system
Responsible for completing network change requests / tasks in accordance with service level agreements and in line with Change Management process
Ensures that peer review is performed of proposed network changes, by other members of the team within the agreed timelines
Follows documented network services processes and procedures, identifies gaps in processes or documentation and suggests improvements
Maintains network services documentation related to work area including: Network diagrams, technical knowledge articles and procedures
Completes Out of Hours Change Activity as required to implement planned network changes
What you bring:
Have previous experience providing technical support for a multi-vendor Network.
Skilled in configuing network devices and have previous experience working with Cisco Routing and Switching Devices.
Knowledge of network technologies, i.e., routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, network and routing protocols, DNS
Have previous experience in managing multiple requests while maintaining SLA and delivery timelines.
Knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture
Ability to understand and apply technical concepts
Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships / Flexibility, versatility, dependability
Holds certifications: Cisco CCNA, and or Juniper JNCIA.
Preference given to those with training or Certification in CCNP routing and switching level. They should also demonstrate technical knowledge at this level.
Demonstrate knowledge and hands on experience with Network principles: Firewalls, Routing, Switching, IP-VPNs and MPLS
Excellent verbal and written communication
Have an analytical approach to problem solving, able to work under pressure and have a “can do” attitude
Willing to work out of hours at short notice and be flexible in their approach to work
A team player, have a strong work ethic and able to manage / prioritize own workstreams
