Safety Data Sheet Specialist

Work Type: Temps plein Contract Type: Contrat à durée indéterminée We are seeking a dedicated Specialist for Safety Data sheet to ensure regulated safety data sheet management worldwide.

This role requires a strong understanding of safety data sheet regulations and global compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Enter new safety data sheets, hazardous material releases, and technical data sheets into the database (PLM-Teamcenter Legacy) and fill in assigned attributes. Regularly update safety data sheets in the database by making inquiries to manufacturers/suppliers and assigning corresponding statuses in the system. Procure country-specific safety data sheets and document their availability as needed. Provide advice and user support for efficient use and search of safety data sheets in Teamcenter, and train employees on the correct sending of documents. Collaborate with IT on system improvements and adjustments. Work with the master data system (Matstamm) in HOST and SAP, including conducting random checks for duplicates. Independently manage the assigned SDB account, process workload timely, inform applicants about completed tasks, and provide information on personnel provision or vacation replacement training. Collaborate and regularly coordinate with HQ.

Profile:

University degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of safety data sheet (SDS) regulations and global compliance standards (e.g., OSHA). 3-5 years of experience in safety data sheet management or hazardous materials management. Proficiency in database management tools and software, particularly for safety data sheets. Strong knowledge of hazardous material classifications, CAS numbers, and regulatory requirements. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of IT systems and collaboration on system improvements or adjustments. Perfect English
