Fullstack Software Development Engineering Interns to join our team

Location: Tunis - Amsterdam - Remote

Type of Employment: Internship (Stage) Starting date: February / 2025

The opportunity:

To achieve our ambitious goals, we're looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our Engineering team for three to six months. Interns in our Engineering organization will work on various projects spanning front-end, back-end, full-stack, and mobile engineering. In this role, the intern will help KOYOTEC tackle some of our most interesting technical challenges and gain real-world experience shipping features to millions of users. Koyotec’s engineers and researchers have the freedom to innovate and uncover breakthroughs- and, in turn, influence our product roadmap. The complexity of our technical challenges is growing rapidly as we scale our clients interfaces, algorithms, and infrastructure.

Your impact:

• Work on end-to-end Engineering challenges directly related to your team's high-level goals.

• Ship code in your first week after orientation!

•Iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment and leverage your unique point of view to share feedback on product direction.

•Partner with a mentor to scope, design, and execute a fully formed project throughout your internship.

• Collaborate with a strong team of professionals from whom you can learn on a daily basis, especially with a mentor.

• Get your hands on various APIs, frameworks, and programming languages.

• Learn from all the challenges that come from shipping a product to tens of millions of daily active users.

What we are looking for:

• Currently pursuing IT engineering (master/Bachelor)

• at least 1 year of software development experience

• Experience with both Frontend and Backend engineering

• A solid understanding of programming languages, ideally knowledge of the React framework and Go programming language, but if you don't, you will be willing to learn and fully embrace these languages

• Advantageous to have experience developing solutions in the Cloud, and/or using Cloud services but certainly not a must

• Embraces continuous development and learning

• Knowledge of software engineering practices

• Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS apps

• Hands on docker, CI/CD Tools is a plus

• Experience with Git/GitHub

• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

•Self-organized, Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious

• Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment

•A great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work
