Job :
Reporting to General Management, you will define and implement the company's export strategy across several strategic geographical areas: Europe, Middle East, Africa, and North America.
You will be responsible for international commercial performance, the development of strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Strategic and Commercial Development
- Define and deploy the company's overall export strategy.
- Identify and develop new international markets with high potential.
- Define commercial objectives by geographical area and ensure they are met.
- Lead prospecting and international sales development actions.
- Oversee responses to strategic tenders.
- Conduct commercial negotiations with key clients and partners.
International Market Management
- Adapt commercial strategies to the cultural, regulatory, and economic specificities of each market.
- Develop and maintain lasting relationships with key accounts, distributors, and international partners.
- Represent the company at international trade shows, fairs, and events.
Operational and Financial Management
- Monitor commercial performance, margins, and profitability by market.
- Develop and manage export budgets.
- Analyze performance indicators and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Ensure coordination with Production, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Support departments.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with international, customs, and commercial regulations.
- Oversee logistics operations related to export.
- Identify and anticipate commercial, financial, geopolitical, and regulatory risks.
- Implement risk mitigation plans and ensure business continuity.
Team Management
- Lead and develop international export teams.
- Manage area managers.
- Participate in recruitment, evaluation, and skills development of employees.
- Develop a culture of performance, commercial excellence, and intercultural understanding.
Required profile :
- Degree level Bac+4/5 or higher, ideally from a Business School or Engineering School.
- Professional experience of at least 15 years in international business development, including a minimum of 10 years in Export Director roles in the agri-food or FMCG sectors.
- Solid expertise in the development and management of multi-zone export markets (Europe, Middle East, North America, and Africa).
- Excellent command of international negotiation techniques, international trade, customs regulations, Incoterms, and standards applicable to export markets.
- Proven experience in managing multicultural teams and managers.
- Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, and ability to manage commercial and financial performance.
- Assertive leadership, strategic vision, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive in a complex international environment.
- Perfect command of French, Arabic, and English. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
- Availability for frequent international travel.
