Job Title: Junior Marketing Scientist

Location: Tunis, Tunisia

Reports to: Marketing Science Manager / Director

Key interactions: Software Engineering, Customer Success and Sales Departments.

Job Purpose/Role Description:

The role of the Junior Marketing Scientist is to help in discovering the information hidden in vast amounts of data and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products and services. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining, econometrics, measure marketing effectiveness by implementing regression model and advanced analytical methodology and contribute to providing continuous training and technical support to clients from all over the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process data
  • Perform exploratory analysis including descriptive statistics
  • Run work and deliver Marketing Mix Modeling and customer segmentation projects
  • Contribute to preparing and delivering presentations, dashboards & reports to clients
  • Attend Clients meetings, write minutes and action points
  • Gain full understanding on Data Science Project Management principles & Best practices. 
  • Provide online and onsite trainings and demonstrations to international clients
  • Participate actively in continuous MASS Analytics internal documentation & knowledge transfer
  • Master and get total autonomy on Mass Analytics products and features
  • Run extensive testing on Mass Analytics tools new versions
  • Understand Clients needs and communicate it to the R&D Department
  • Develop knowledge about Marketing Mix Modeling.
  • Stick to the internal security measures and policies

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Business.
  • A previous experience in a similar domain is a plus.

  • Understanding of data mining, machine learning, and statistical models including linear & logistic regression, PCA, clustering, etc…
  • Ensure accountability and ownership on the correctness and quality of deliverables
  • Improve and self-train on technical aspects of the work and explore how to go further
  • Extend business knowledge and Improve Contextual and commercial story telling results to as many verticals as possible
  • Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with common data science toolkits (R, Python, Eviews, etc…).
  • Great communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management & ability to stick to projects and internal deadlines
  • Ensure continuous rigor and regularity in your daily work
  • Adapt to new projects, work cultures and colleagues easily
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
