As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site activities, managing site teams, and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to interpret project requirements.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure project materials are of the required quality.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and reports.
- Resolve technical issues and challenges during construction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements.
- Direct and oversee day-to-day on-site activities to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise and lead site teams, providing guidance and support for efficient project execution.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of concrete work and finishing to guarantee the highest quality of construction.
- Implement best practices in concrete and finishing techniques to meet project specifications.
- Oversee the installation of MEP systems, ensuring seamless integration into the overall project.
- Utilize quantity surveying skills to estimate project costs, manage budgets effectively, and track resource allocations.
- Participate in contract management activities, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and liaise with relevant stakeholders to address contractual matters.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing site teams, concrete work, and finishing.
- Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
- Experience in MEP system installation is a significant advantage.
- Strong quantity surveying skills.
- Knowledge of contract management processes.
