About This Opportunity
Crown has now an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us as a
Quality Engineer. The role reports to the Quality Manager and is based on-site, at our manufacturing plant in Tunis (Tunisia). Your mission in Crown
Coordinate Plant Quality activities and ensure we continually meet customer needs and improve performance with regard to product quality, cost effectiveness and delivery performance.
Ensure that all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification and to ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to supply a quality finished product to the customer.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, implement and evaluate the integrated system, measure its effectiveness and, if necessary, guarantee certification.
- Plan and execute internal audit based on quality standards and requirement in the whole plant.
- Lead the Quality and Hygiene approach according to the standards in place.
- Lead all services operationally to maintain and improve processes.
- Ensure that all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification, and that all appropriate actions are taken to supply a good quality of finished product to the customer.
- Ensure the implementation of the training programs (Quality, HACCP…), development and organization within the department.
- Elaborate the Trials reports, evaluate the quality of existing products in accordance with standard specifications and implement control procedures.
- Cooperate with the DMQ and the Production department to analyze and eradicate the root cause of product non-conformities to avoid customer complaints and achieve the customer requirements.
- Monitor the non-conformities, follow up the corrective and preventive actions.
About You
- Engineering diploma and a minimum of 3 years of Quality experience within the manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Standards (ISO 9001, BRC, FSSC 22000 Standards or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Excellent communicator, capable of interacting effectively at all levels of the organization, and an outstanding team player with strong logical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic toward Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Proficient user of Office tools, with knowledge of Power BI being a plus.
- Fluent in English is mandatory.
