Job Description

We are a global software provider in the fintech industry and are seeking a Production Support Analyst to join our support division based in Tunis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our primarily North American-based financial sector clients.

Role :

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)/Technical Services Consultant role requires a blend of technical ability and client facing skills. The responsibilities include building and operating full stack cloud infrastructure both in both public and private cloud and also Oracle database administration and disaster recovery across both of those platforms as well as for our fully deployed offerings. The particular focus of the team is on the Linedata Global Hedge (LGH) suite of software and new applications that interact with LGH. Pre-emptive monitoring and problem solving are encouraged as much as reactive and proactive troubleshooting. Candidates should be passionate about scalability, reliability, automation, uptime and availability, building and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure and tools as a platform that enables developers and end users alike to use the cloud more optimally.

Accountabilities:

  • Work with full stack cloud enviornments on private and public cloud
  • Automate and build best-in-class continuous integration and deployment pipeline
  • Create meaningful monitoring, logging, alerting, and responses to issues proactively
  • Network, scaling, performance tuning and trouble shooting
  • Database administration on Oracle on private and public cloud and deployed offerings
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions on private and public cloud and deployed offerings
  • Collaborate with multiple teams throughout the lifecycle of products and services from concept and development to deployment and operations
  • Provide clear and timely incident response including candid and objective retrospective
  • Participate in the improvement of SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs
  • Write and maintain relevant documentation


Job Requirement

Must Have Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in technical related subject
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture
  • Familiarity with Oracle database administration and working knowledge of RDBMS
  • Familiarity with Windows Systems Administration
  • Continuous learning habit
  • Capability to work as a team in start-up pace, open mind and self-motivated
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Desire to constantly seek new ways to improve system performance
  • Pride in customer relation and exceeding customer expectations
  • Delight in building tools to automate routine tasks, organized and detailed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible working hours to handle on-call duty including weekends on a rota based system
