Role Description
This is an internship position at CIS International School of Tunis. Interns will work closely with the school’s teachers to support and enhance the learning experience for students. The internship provides an opportunity for hands-on experience in a dynamic educational setting, with a focus on personal and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills
- Students in their second or third year of university studies, working toward a teaching degree/bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Business, English, or Robotics.
- Ability to work with school management platforms such as Edupage and Google Classroom.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Follow the CIS Code of Conduct, upholding the school’s values, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure student safety per CIS Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
- Set high expectations to inspire and challenge students in a safe, respectful environment.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and address misconceptions.
- Use research to improve teaching practices.
- Foster a love of learning and positive behavior.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons for all students, including those with special needs.
- Reflect on teaching effectiveness and contribute to curriculum design.
- Set and monitor homework and out-of-class activities to enhance learning.
- Be accountable for student progress and outcomes, using data and assessments effectively.
- Manage behavior using strategies aligned with the CIS Well-being department.
- Promote respectful behavior school-wide.
- Engage in professional responsibilities, including extra-curricular activities.
- Pursue professional development and communicate effectively with parents.
Intern Contract and Benefits
- Interns are hired for a single school year, typically from August to June. Interns will be assigned to work with CIS main teachers based on their subject specialization and preference for two to three days per week.
