The Group's IT teams are made up of more than 400 employees spread across Paris, Tunis, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.

We are looking for a database administrator with strong skills in SQL Servers & Oracle to help us run the daily activity and participate to the technical projects involving Database expertise.

There are operations to manage during the week-end & on-call support on a regular basis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Run activity
  • Administration and supervision of database servers
  • SQL code optimization and developer support
  • Development of scripts to automatize and facilitate database administration
  • Manage obsolescence & security on Databases Ecosystem of the bank
  • Project Activity
  • Study and implementation of new projects
  • Test & validate the deployement of new DB technologies (SQL, noSQL) related to business needs
  • Contribute to architecture topics
  • Follow Market Development around DB technologies

Professional / personal requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in database administration (SQL Server & Oracle)
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server database
  • Admin knowledge for Oracle is appreciated
  • Good scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell...)
  • Solid technical background in infrastructure technologies such as OS Administration, SAN, Security Topics (encryption).
  • Ensuring all processes, and activity level instructions are well documented and understood
  • Ensuring compliance with ITIL processes
  • Ability to document processes and procedures in a clear, concise and logical manner.
  • Very good knowledge of English.
  • German language skills are an advantage
  • Diplomacy, flexibility, Power of persuasion, Intellectual curiosity
  • Autonomy on managing small projects (database migration for instance)
  • Ability to manage emergency situations


Formal Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent.

5+ years is preferred.
